Introducing our 40th Anniversary Coffee Club
REAL Women of Canada needs your help!
For 40 years, REAL Women has been an independent voice advocating for the traditional family and the Judeo-Christian values that make our rights and freedoms possible.
Being independent comes with a price tag. REAL Women is not funded by government or corporations. In order to remain independent, although a Not-For-Profit, REAL Women does not have tax-exempt status as a charity. Our funding comes solely from our membership fees and member donations.
To celebrate our 40th Anniversary and be able to continue for the next forty years, REAL Women invites you to join our 40th Anniversary Coffee Club! We know that times are tough as we struggle under the burdens of inflation and inept government economic policies, deficits, regulations, and regressive taxes. Our preliminary survey results so far indicate that our members see an important role for REAL Women. However, we will not be able to continue our important work without more solid, and consistent financial backing from our grassroots supporters.
For the price of a cup of coffee a day, ($2.00) your recurring donation of $60 made on a monthly basis adds up to help ensure REAL Women’s continued presence in the Public Square, speaking out on matters that matter to you and your family. Our expenses are close to $240,000 a year, this in spite of our best efforts to be responsible stewards of your kind donations.
Here are examples of donation levels:
1) Gold Member: $2 a day = $60 a month = $720 a year x 200 members = $144,000/yr
2) Silver Member: $20 a month x 12 months = $240 a year x 200 members = $48,000/yr
3) Bronze Member: $15 a month x 12 months = $180 a year x 300 members = $54,000/yr
Total = $246,000 a year. This would cover our operating costs.
No matter the amount of the recurring monthly contribution, it all makes a difference at the end of the day! Being a monthly donor allows you to spread the cost of your donation over the year and is therefore more “budget friendly”. Being a monthly donor also means fewer funding requests from us, which allows us to spend more time furthering the conversations that matter to you.

You can also send a set of post-dated cheques to our Ottawa office. Please let us know what level of monthly commitment you can make, starting as soon as possible!
