Ottawa REALity January, 2018
Rather than defending his government, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau readily capitulates to legal demands brought against it and quickly pays out taxpayers’ money on demand.
He recently awarded $145 million to homosexuals because they were dismissed in the past from the civil service and the military, assessed as a national security risk since they were vulnerable to blackmail as homosexuality, at that time, was prohibited in the Criminal Code. This payout was the result of a class action legal challenge brought by a Toronto-based homosexual lawyer, Douglas Elliott.
Despite this payout to homosexuals, it is a fact that they have been at all times, free to find employment elsewhere, and were accepted as full citizens with all rights and privileges. Who is to be compensated next? Will all homosexuals who were not permitted to marry prior to 2005 want to be compensated? Will all those women denied abortion prior to 1969, when it was prohibited by the Criminal Code, also be compensated?
This homosexual fund will entitle an individual to a minimum payment of $5,000 and a maximum of $150,000, depending on the degree of the alleged harassment or persecution. It is believed two to three thousand people will make claims.
Legislation has also been introduced for those convicted of buggery or gross indecency involving same-sex acts. They can apply to the Parole Board of Canada to have the conviction expunged from the record and the related judicial records destroyed.
Trudeau claimed, on November 28, 2017 (his time as a high school drama teacher has paid off) in his tear-stained apology to LGBTQ2, that the apology was being made on behalf of “all” Canadians. This is not true. This apology is not supported by people of faith whether Christian, Muslim, Sikh or Orthodox Jew who do not believe that homosexuality is normal, moral, or risk free.
It was deceitful of Trudeau to pretend that there are no consequences to homosexual sexual practices, medically, psychologically and socially.
The reality is that the homosexual lifestyle often leads to the devastation of AIDS, anal, throat and mouth cancer, sexually transmitted diseases, drug abuse and increased depression and suicide. This occurs even in countries like the Netherlands and Sweden, where homosexual rights have been the law of the land for years. Homosexuals there remain three times more susceptible to mood disorders and 3 to 10 times more likely to engage in suicidal self-harm.
Heritage Minister Mélanie Joly has further announced another $15 million has been earmarked for propaganda purposes to promote homosexuality in Canada. This sum includes the cost of erecting in Ottawa, a statue to homosexuals. A further $770,000 has been given to the LGBTQ2 organization EGALE to fund a travelling exhibit in ten cities, called: Legalizing Love: the Road to June 27th, 1969. The sum also includes the costs of a 60-minute documentary to increase awareness about LGBTQ2.
The Canadian military has been ordered to provide “safe places” for homosexuals, allowing them to create networks and seek information and assistance. This is discrimination against the needs of other military personnel. A new defense policy includes the appointment of a “diversity champion” within the military to ensure the integration of Gender-Based Analysis Plus in all defense activities, and a new focus on recruiting and retaining diverse populations. One would have thought that the purpose of the Canadian Armed Forces was to be a deterrent to war and, if need be, to participate in war in order to protect Canadians. The military was never intended to be a social agency to promote homosexuality.
Finally, $250,000 has been set aside to fund projects to support services for the LGBTQ2 community, such as peer led support for these communities and education sessions on the impacts of homophobia.
The result of Trudeau’s apology and funding is long range and damaging.
A genuine concern arises about those who do not accept Trudeau’s simplistic interpretation of homosexuality. Are they going to be hounded and persecuted under these homosexual programs?
The Supreme Court of Canada stated that there is no hierarchy of rights under the Charter. Trudeau, however, has revised this by awarding homosexuals, not equal rights, but superior rights in Canada.
Please write to the following, objecting to the payment of this money to homosexuals and for the promotion of their propaganda.
