Everyone remembers when Justin Trudeau became prime minister in 2015. The election of a Liberal Government, under his leadership, was greeted with elation. The son of a respected (by some), former Prime Minister, Pierre Trudeau, made him a spectacular choice. The younger Trudeau was regarded as a breath of fresh air – a young, handsome and vigorous man with a loving family. Many Canadians thought he was destined to raise Canada to new heights. Everyone also remembers the end of Trudeau’s time in office. Canadians couldn’t stand him or the Liberals’ failed policies. This was because enough Canadians finally saw Trudeau as he really was, and not as he was presented to the public by the legacy media and his political handlers. Yet, in many ways, Trudeau was the perfect Liberal—vain, arrogant, and uninformed. He and the Liberal policies he espoused created the breeding ground for the disaster Canada has now become. Liberal economic policies led to food price inflation, low productivity, high interest rates creating housing shortages, a flood of immigrants which undermined our social network, and especially our already chaotic health care system. Other Liberal policies under Trudeau included the implementation of DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) whereby employment was obtained based on the colour of one’s skin or pronoun usage rather than on competence; and the hoax of man-made climate change which brought in the carbon tax and green energy scam. Trudeau’s Liberals lavished billions of dollars on special interest groups such as feminists, homosexuals and the indigenous victim industry. Liberal policy on MAiD has led to the killing of thousands. Internationally, Canada is ridiculed by serious countries.
Mark Carney Follows Trudeau’s Footsteps
Mark Carney has done little to improve Canada’s perilous situation since he became prime minister. Instead, he is pursuing the same disastrous failed Liberal playbook as his predecessor. The only major difference between Trudeau and Carney is that Carney is better connected to the Globalist Investor Class and is taking full advantage of those connections to further an anti-Western and anti-Canadian agenda. Despite Carney’s obvious flaws and conflicts of interest, many Canadians greeted Carney with the same enthusiasm with which they had formerly greeted Trudeau. They expected that Carney, with his degrees in economics and central banking background, would be the answer to Canada’s problems. In particular, many Canadians believed that the tariffs imposed on Canada by U.S. President Donald Trump would be masterfully handled by Carney. Unfortunately, Carney has only deepened our U.S. tariff problems with his “elbows-up” policy. Carney’s failure has jeopardized the US-Mexico-Canada free trade agreement (USMCA) which faces a deadline of July 1st, 2026. The U.S. does not need the USMCA, but Canada most certainly does. Without this free trade agreement, Canadian manufacturers will inevitably move their businesses to the United States to avoid the overwhelming tariffs proposed by Mr. Trump. Business investors will not regard Canada as a safe place to put their money. Simply put, without the USMCA, Canada will be in deep trouble.
Carney’s Performance as Prime Minister
Carney’s failure to improve Canada, of course, has not been acknowledged by the legacy media. Rather, the latter has painted Carney as a conquering hero who is delivering Canada into security and wealth. In fact, Carney is a fraud. The legacy media’s adulation of Carney was exposed, however, on January 29, 2026, at the Canadian Media Summit of the Canadian Media Producers Association at which Carney was the guest speaker. After he spoke, the President and CEO of the organization, Reynolds Mastin stated:
“Prime Minister, know that every person in this room, and the 180,000 people who work in this industry, have your back, just as we know you have ours.”
The effect of this blind support is that when Carney fails or makes a mistake, the legacy media flocks to his side, flaps its wings to extinguish the controversial flame and pretends nothing significant has occurred.
Carney’s Failures as Prime Minister
Canada’s economy has deteriorated over the past year, and is continuing its downward spiral which has left our unemployment rate at 7% and a crushing 18% for our younger generation during the summer of 2025, which includes those trying to find work and those who have just given up. Canada is still experiencing low productivity and high inflation on the cost of food. Child poverty increased in 2025 with nearly 30,000 more children falling below the poverty level. According to the latest 2025 Report Card on Child and Family Poverty in Canada, distributed by the Ontario Association of Interval and Transition Houses (OAITH), child poverty is worsening. It states that 2.5 million children are living in food insecure households and that more than 1.2 million adults or 6.8% of the population are living in working poverty. Carney announced with great fanfare, trumpets blaring and banners waving, his new Major Projects Policy which was supposed to inject new life into the economy by eliminating red tape which up to then had restricted such policy development. The problem with this new policy, however, is that Carney authoritatively makes the decisions on all matters, determining the projects which will be accepted. Moreover, he has created barriers to any new projects because he requires that such projects be scrutinized for environmental factors by his newly established Indigenous Advisory Council. It is no wonder that no projects have gotten off the ground to date.
Carney is also continuing the Liberals’ longstanding reckless fiscal policies. One would have thought that with his economic and banking background, Carney would have known better. However, Carney’s November 2025 budget revealed his fiscal incompetence. His budget increased the deficit to $78.3 billion. Canada has now accumulated a national debt totaling $1.27 trillion. It costs more to service the national debt (paying interest etc.) than the government transfers to the provinces for healthcare. This boggles the mind. Carney is indifferent to the cost to taxpayers for his extensive travels. He spent $736,400 on a two-day trip to Egypt in December 2025, to attend a press conference announcing an agreement ending the Hamas-Israel conflict. How does this solve the problems that Canada is facing today? The trip was purely a photo op to promote Carney’s image. According to Carney’s budget, he is spending even more money than Trudeau on homosexuals, abortion, feminist groups and the aboriginal victim industry. Carney has also continued playing from the Liberal’s playbook of “identity politics”. For example, he stated, “Muslim values are Canadian values” (Does this include bigamy, genital mutilation, sexual segregation, and hatred of Jews?). Further, Carney has not lifted a finger in trying to stop the growing antisemitism rampant across Canada.
When making trade deals with China, Carney referred to Canada’s relationship with this Communist country as a “new era”, and characterized China as a strategic partner in a “new world order”, indicating Canada and China had similar values and could work together. When Carney met with European leaders on March 17, 2025, he described Canada as “the most European of non-European countries”, and when Carney met with the Prime Minister of India, he referred to Canada and India on March 2, 2026, as being “one family”. It seems that Carney believes that Canadian values are flexible and can be shifted to match all occasions.
The Myth of Trade Deals
In a foolish attempt to offset his failure to deal effectively with U.S. tariffs, Carney has become a ‘man-in-motion’, perpetually traveling across the world, at Canadian taxpayers’ expense, attempting to make trade agreements with other countries as an alternative to Canada’s trade with the United States. Since Canada’s trade with the U.S. constitutes 76% of our trade, it is impossible to match it with any other trade agreement, no matter how numerous the other agreements may be. Carney is delusional if he thinks otherwise. Canada’s proximity to the U.S. and the similarity in the Canadian and U.S. cultures, as well as accessibility to the U.S. by a north-south transportation network, makes trade with the U.S. naturally efficient and productive—for both countries. Any trade agreement with other continents requires high transportation costs. These costs will be far in excess of that paid in the U.S. Canada trade arrangement. The U.S. has 350 million people and a thriving economy, which other smaller countries cannot match. Nonetheless, Carney has pursued his delusion.
The legacy media in Canada has treated each new trade agreement as a triumph, and the beginning of a new trade era. Carney has unconcernedly entered into trade deals with China, Qatar, Luxembourg, India and Australia. These deals are only paper deals; they are written mostly in generalities without specific terms and do not guarantee further action or results. Results will only come if and when bureaucrats begin intense negotiations to hammer out specific details. This, however, is not likely to happen, and it is more likely that these deals will remain largely on paper. Even if the agreements do come to fruition, they never will replicate our trade with the United States.
Carney’s Performance at the World Economic Forum
During his international travels in January 2026, making his supposed “deals”, Carney stopped by the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland and gave a major speech. Carney has long been associated with the left-wing globalist WEF. During his speech, Carney asserted that there was “a new world order” (a favourite expression of Communist China) and that middle powers should now band together in trade agreements and ignore the superpowers, i.e. United States. The U.S. was the target of Carney’s suggestion. Why does Carney think that Canada is a “middle power”? It may have been so in the past, but due to our reduced economy, weak security and decaying military network, this is not so today. Notwithstanding, Carney’s farcical speech was met with rapture both in Canada and abroad. Not because his speech was rational, but because it was “anti-Trump”.
Carney has tried to follow-up on the “middle-powers” banding together for trade purposes. At a meeting with Nordic countries in mid-March 2026, among other issues, a trade deal was discussed. However, because of the small populations and economies of such countries they will not provide a whiff of difference to make up for Canada’s trade problems with the U.S.
Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre, although a political leader with many shortcomings, did provide a more rational alternative to Carney’s nonsensical tirade. He stated the obvious, that in view of Canada’s geography, it is inevitable that Canada must have a bilateral trading relationship with the U.S. He added that such an agreement would not leave Canada hostage to the U.S, as Canada does have leverage with regards to energy and critical minerals, access to which would be to the advantage of the U.S.
China and India: Terrorist Threats to Canada
It is curious that Carney entered into trade agreements with China and India, both of which have been declared by the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) to be security risks to Canada.
China
During the last federal election campaign, on April 17, 2025, Carney stated,
“I think the biggest security threat to Canada is China.”
On January 19, 2026, Carney stated,
“We are heartened by the leadership of President Xi Jinping and the speed with which our relationship has progressed in recent months. I believe the progress that we have made in the partnership sets us up well for the new world order.”
What led Carney to change his mind on China? Opportunism. The agreement with China is not surprising since loyalty and integrity are obviously not Carney’s strengths, unless it involves his Investor Class buddies. China is no friend to Canada. CSIS has provided documentary evidence that China interfered in the Canadian elections of 2019, 2021 and 2025. The Liberal government has done nothing about this because results of the interference were to the advantage of the Liberal Party. Chinese criminal triads are freely operating in Canada, manufacturing and distributing illicit drugs, laundering money, running casinos and prostitution rings, without opposition or legal consequences.
A partnership with China means that China is in control and the other party is a submissive vassal. Further, China uses trade deals as political weapons, if one of the vassal states does not conform to China’s demands then it simply changes the agreement to suit itself. Any agreement with China is to the advantage of China due to Canada’s proximity to the United States. China’s ultimate objective is to become the world’s superpower by 2040, displacing the U.S. Canada is merely a target to achieve this goal. CSIS has also provided evidence that Beijing has already achieved great influence in Canada by infiltrating our institutions, both political and civil.
In its report, CSIS states that there are 575 Chinese organizations in Canada embedded in identity-based organizations, business and trade associations, education and student organizations, cultural and “friendship” associations, professional organizations, organizations focused on political parties and policy, and media platforms of various kinds.
Both Trudeau and Carney have knowingly allowed Beijing supporters (plants) to run as Liberal candidates in elections. The Canadian Senate has at least two Beijing plants (one retired in June 2024), and if Beijing wants further plants in the Senate or in the House of Commons, Carney will place no obstructions before them. It is demoralizing to know that Canadian taxpayers are paying the salaries of these Chinese plants whose sole purpose is to be operatives for Beijing in Canada. Senators are currently paid a base salary of $192,561 plus generous perks for travel, expensive dinners, gifts to unnamed recipients etc. Beijing plants who sit as MPs in the House of Commons, are currently paid a basic salary of $218,600, plus all the perks, including free travel within Canada. In addition, as part of influencing Canada, Communist China currently controls all the Chinese language media networks in Canada, which have enormous impact on ridings with large Chinese populations. That is, Communist China has gained complete control of all the Chinese language media networks in Canada which has changed the outcome of elections in ridings that have a large Chinese population.
Carney’s agreement with China, however, is not just a trade deal. There are other more alarming provisions in it. The legacy media, of course, has for the most part, failed to report this critical information. This includes the provision that the RCMP will henceforth work in collaboration with the Communist Chinese security department, the feared Ministry of Public Security. The latter Chinese agency currently operates several clandestine police stations in Canada under the cover of Chinese community organizations in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. The agreement with China also includes the provision that Canadian media will work in collaboration with the Chinese propaganda department and there would be two-way travel convenience between the two agencies. The Chinese propaganda department, called Shen Haixiong, controls China’s central television as well as its international media outlets. It serves as a platform worldwide for Communist China’s propaganda. To the Chinese, the word “media” means a platform for propaganda for Chinese Communist party officials.
Carney’s Chinese Connections
When Carney was CEO of Brookfield Asset Management, it had over $3 billion of politically sensitive investments with Chinese-state linked real estate and energy companies, together with a substantial offshore banking presence. Carney is connected to Chinese economic interests including the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), a Beijing-led multilateral institution. The AIIB is led by a former Red Guard and senior Chinese Communist party operative. It is closely linked with the World Economic Forum (WEF) and its initiatives. When Carney was governor of the Bank of England, he was involved with financial dealings between the UK and China. All this indicates that Carney and the Liberal party (judging by Prime Minister Jean Chrétien’s numerous business trips to China and Justin Trudeau’s association with money flowing heavily through the Pierre Trudeau Foundation) are closely allied with Communist Chinese officials. All the above raise a very strong possibility that Carney is using Canada for his own economic interests, selling out Canada to Communist China.
India
A CSIS report released in February 2026 stated that foreign interference had occurred in Canada linking the Indian government with the murder of Canadian Sikh activist, Hardeep Singh Nijjar in 2023. The Indian government has also been linked with the airplane crash of Air Flight 182 on June 23, 1985, which caused the death of 268 Canadian citizens.
When Carney met with Indian Prime Minister Modi in early March, he made reference to Canada and India as “one family” stating “the greatest, most enduring strength between Canada and India are the families who call our nations home. More than 2 million Canadians trace their roots to India – including leaders in business, science, culture and government.” Carney went on to praise Canada’s large number of Indian international students. He remarked that “400,000 Indians study in Canada”, which he said was an important part of India and Canada’s relations. Carney seems to have forgotten that in 2024 Canada issued student visas to 407,000 students, but that over 50,000 of these students did not show up at their universities and colleges where they were registered. Most of the “no-show” students were from India. Briefly stated, Indian students are using student visas as a backdoor entry into Canada. This was confirmed on March 23, 2026, in a report published by the federal auditor general which indicated that an international criminal network was exploiting Canada’s international student visa program. The report stated that Indian international students were being employed by these crime networks to target the Sikh community with threats and extortion and that this exploitation was linked to the Indian government. In 2024, the RCMP had reported that it had strong evidence to support these claims against the Indian government. However, since Mark Carney became prime minister, the RCMP has refused to comment on its files relating to this situation.
In March 2026, India’s High Commissioner to Canada, Dinesh Patnaik, suggested that Canada should increase its population by welcoming 60 million more immigrants from India. He highlighted that the “Complementary economies of the two nations” would provide Canada with more labour and talent necessary for our future. Canada does not need to be a colony of India, providing it with access to our natural resources and in return receiving products manufactured in India. We already have enough problems with our economy and cultural integration.
Summary
The above appraisal of Carney’s performance may seem harsh. REAL Women believes, however, that we must present the truth. Carney is the wrong man to lead this forsaken country. He has no perception and understanding of what Canadians think or need, nor does he understand Canadian history, traditions and values. He has his own agenda to promote elitist global issues. As a central planner, Carney has no loyalty to Canada, and to our sovereignty. Canadians are incidental to Carney on his highway to acquiring wealth and influence for himself and his associates. Carney’s global agenda means that many will be controlled by a few powerful leading elites in the world with whom Carney is connected.
