WHEREAS abortion advocates are lobbying for Paris researcher Etienne Baulieu, discoverer of the abortifacient drug RU-486, to be given the Nobel Prize for Medicine;
AND WHEREAS, despite the fact that very little research has been done to date on the side effects of this drug, It is already obvious that it is extremely harmful to women, having already caused at least one maternal death;
BE IT RESOLVED that REAL Women of Canada strongly protests such a debasement of the Nobel Prize and that the Nobel Prize Committee be so notified of our objections.
