REAL Women of Canada

REAL Women of Canada is a signatory to the attached Declaration signed by fifty-seven individuals or organizations across Canada in support of Motion 312.
The Motion, to be debated on 2nd reading for one hour on Friday, September 21st, 2012 and voted on Wednesday, September 26, 2012, was sponsored by MP Stephen Woodworth, (Kitchener Centre), in order to establish a Parliamentary Committee to examine, from a scientific and medical perspective, when human life begins. This study is necessary since the current definition was developed several hundred years ago. Our medical and scientific knowledge has advanced substantially since that time. Canada must move on and no longer be locked in the past.
