WHEREAS the heterosexual relationship is unique in its capacity to procreate children and care for their upbringing;
AND WHEREAS the traditional family of mother, father and children is the social unit fundamental to the stability and well-being of society;
BE IT RESOLVED that the definition of the family both in federal and provincial jurisdictions be restricted to the traditional heterosexual relationship of mother, father and children who are related by blood, marriage or adoption.
