The final vote on Bill C-279, the Transgender Bill sponsored by NDP MP Randall Garrison , is expected to take place on Wednesday, March 20, 2013.  We need to take immediate action to stop this bill.

This proposed legislation passed second reading with the support of 15 Conservative MP s.  Another 16 Conservative MP s did not even vote or were absent.

Please join us in this last minute campaign to contact one (or more) of the MP’s who were absent or did not vote on Bill C-279.  Politely request that the Member of Parliament vote against Bill C-279 as the Human Rights commission has stated it is not necessary as ‘gender identity’ is already protected under the Human Rights Code.
